We offer grants to support talented early-career researchers and visiting researchers in diabetes, metabolism, and classical endocrinology. You can learn more about our grant schemes and application processes below, as well as our funding opportunity for education and networking activities.
In 2024, we will open one call for applications for PhD scholarships, postdoc fellowships, and visiting researcher grants.
The call will open in June 2024.
We expect to call for applications for the following grant schemes in June. We expect the calls to be similar to our 2023 calls below. Please note, however, that we may make minor adjustments to the calls and the evaluation criteria, and we may change the number of grants available or the amount of financing.
PhD scholarships with no specific themes (2/3 financed) (DKK 1.1 million each): 7
PhD scholarships with specific themes (2/3 financed) (DKK 1.1 million each): 4 (theme to be announced)
PhD scholarships with co-financing from industry (1/3 co-financed) (DKK 550,000 each): 4
Strategic partnership PhD scholarships (1/3 co-financed) (DKK 550,000 each): 3
Postdoctoral fellowships with no specific themes (two-year) (DKK 1.2 million each): 7 (theme to be announced)
Postdoctoral fellowships with specific themes (two-year) (DKK 1.2 million each): 3
Postdoctoral fellowships with co-funding from industry (two-year) (1/2 co-financed) (DKK 600,000 each): 4
Strategic partnership postdoctoral fellowships (DKK 600,000 each): 3
Visiting researcher grants (max. DKK 400,000 each): 6

The next call for Funding for Education and Networking Activities will open on 12 August 2024 with a deadline on 22 September 2024. Decisions will be announced one month after the deadline.
