Diabetes Canada conference 2017 and international collaboration

As a result of a collaboration with the Cardiometabolic health, Diabetes and Obesity network (CMDO), Danish Diabetes Academy recently sent two young researchers to the 20th Diabetes Canada Professional Conference and Annual Meetings in Edmonton, Canada, November 1-4, 2017, followed by two trainee days about patient oriented research, among other things, led by Diabetes Action Candada, October 31-November 1, 2017.

The scientific sessions offered researchers and health-care professionals a unique opportunity to share ideas and learn about significant advances in diabetes research, treatment and care. Over the course of four days, participants received exclusive access to more than 40 sessions, took part in engaging exchanges with industry-leading experts and expanded their professional networks with over 1,800 attendees.
