Professorship in Molecular Biology of Diabetes Pathogenesis
The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Faculty of Science, University of Southern Denmark (SDU) is seeking to recruit a professor in Molecular Mechanisms of Diabetes Pathogenesis. The professorship is funded by a grant from the Danish Diabetes Academy (DDA). This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding established investigator to play a leading role in an expanding diabetes research programme at a leading Danish university.
Minisymposium on cardiometabolic disease risk in people from the Middle-East and South Asia
This symposium on September 3 2015, will offer a comprehensive update on the cardiometabolic risk in South Asians and immigrants on from the Middle-East. The three talks will be given by distinguished national and international faculty, Professor K.M. Venkat Narayan from Emory University Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Louise Bennet from Lund University and Professor Naveed Sattar from University of Glasgow.
